Yes, that really is Ernie Els's nickname
When Jimmy put a penny on the train tracks, he thought it was a silly joke. Meanwhile, his girlfriend, Annabelle, waited at the train station in New Orleans. She had just conquered her personal path to temptation. She had been a nymphomaniac, but her relationship with Jimmy felt concrete to her, something she could lay a whole mansion upon. Yet doubts had plagued her. She was the Wilt Chamberlain of the LPGA Tour; not in that she dominated her competition in a similar manner, but how she had parlayed her sports career into a life of lascivious sex. On the golf course, Annabelle was known as "The Big Easy," after PGA golfer Ernie Els. Ironically, she had the same nickname in the dank sexual underground of Urbana, Illinois.
Yet she would sacrifice everything for Jimmy. She managed to spend two months in a monogamous affair with Jimmy, but her demons still had hung over her shoulders. Finally, she had made the decision to once and for all cure her sex addiction. She would spend three weeks in New Orleans, where surely, her reputation would precede her, and she would be incessantly solicited. Surprising all observers, Annabelle stayed true to Jimmy.
So here she was, boarding the train back to Urbana, confident that she was Jimmy's soulmate. She had left without warning, and she could only hope that Jimmy still remained faithful to her memory.
Twelve hours later, Annabelle could palpably feel the aura of Jimmy. The train was entering Urbana, and she would soon be reunited with her dearest man.
A flash of copper glinted into the conductor's widening eyes. "A PENNY!" he shrieked. Alas, it was far too late. The train derailed, killing everyone on board. Jimmy stepped on the train some days later and said, "Haha, what a silly joke!" Then he left, miserable and deranged without his darling Annabelle, whom he had no idea that he had gruesomely decapitated.
